How and when will delivery be made?

  • The delivery time is indicated for the item by our traffic light function or in the product text. This depends on whether the bike is in stock or if it is an pre-order bike. The delivery of bikes in stock is usually made within 8-14 business days after payment is received. Once we’ve received your order, we will inform you of the exact delivery time as soon as possible as a matter of course.
  • It goes without saying that we will have your bike assembled, set up and function-tested by experts. In order to prevent damage during transport, the handlebars, derailleur and chain are removed for shipping.


What forms of payment are available?

Are the bikes approved for a particular maximum weight?

As a general rule of thumb, our bikes can safely handle riders weighing up to 120 kg.


Will I have to have SOLID BIKES perform all the inspections/maintenance I need?

You can generally perform all of the maintenance work yourself, as long as you feel comfortable with it. Otherwise, our local service points will be happy to help you. If there aren’t any in your vicinity, then any mountain bike shop will usually be able to help you.
However, maintenance for fork and shock absorber elements should be left to the manufacturer.

 

Is it also possible to send packages to packing stations?

We can send replacement parts to packing stations as well, but not complete bikes and frames (or kits), since the bike box would unfortunately be too large.


I placed an order. What happens next?    

  • Once you’ve sent off your order, you’ll receive a confirmation of receipt via E-mail. As soon as your order has been approved, we will send a binding confirmation of order via E-mail.
  • Depending on the payment method you choose, we will wait until payment has been received or your financing has been approved before we ship out your order. In the case of PayPal, we will send your order as soon as it is ready to ship.
  • Your order is now being processed. We assemble your parts and accessories and prepare your bike for shipping as soon as it becomes available. We will inform you as soon as your goods are ready for shipping.
  • If you would like to pick up your bike in person, please let us know. However, payment must be received immediately after ordering before the bike can be picked up.
